HI All
I am using oracle enterprise stage in one of my jobs as a inout stage and the jobs were initially aborting with the following error message
"Access to sys.dba_extents is required but not available; please
>see your database administrator for select privileges"
I talked to the Source system DBA and got permissions for my account to this view.
The job runs but i get a fatal message on my log which says
"ora_Locations_Extract_in: APT_OraInstanceSet::opsInstalled(): prepare failed for query `select count(*) from sys.gv_$instance';
please have the DBA run the following command: grant select on sys.gv_$instance to public."
i will try to get access to this as well....but are there any more system tables i need access to for not getting these errors
Thanks
Pavan

There are eight system tables to which you need access. Search the forum or read the documentation to learn what they are.
