Hi,
I was using Notification activity in job sequencer to e-mail a group with a CSV file attachment and some subject in the e-mail.
Every thing was working fine. But, i am getting an additional blank text file with 242Bytes attached to the e-mail.
It is named as ATT8321619.txt. I did a search on the forum, but no luck.
Can anyone tell me what this file doing as a e-mail attachment?

This is something that Microsoft Outlook does; I remember finding a MS page on how to change that behaviour a while back.

I never could find an answer as to exactly why this happens, but will be the first to admit I didn't really look all that hard.
I've started including a note in the email to tell them to ignore any goofy attachment that may come along for the ride.

dspxlearn - my Google here always goes to German (not English) pages so I can't help you much. You can try to search for "outlook att attachment" and you'll get a lot of hits - hopefully one of the first ones will contain the answer. If you do get a definitive answer please do post it.

I saw one post recommending changing the Outlook default Internet message to "both" (that would be RTF and HTML) and that solved the problem. I think that is what I did as well.
