Ni hao
Sometimes I visit China, but always Beijing or the Hong Kong SAR.
Your post is very enterprising, but you should explain the benefits to a Western visitor especially of having a guide in China, such as getting "local price", knowing about the non-existence of queues and so on.
Maybe you should also explain where Giulin is (South West China), and why people would want to visit your city. At least that it is in the Guangua PR and that it is where the International New Technology and New Product Fair 98 was held. Supply some web addresses where people can see pictures and obtain information, especially about hotels. You can find these with any good search engine, such as Google.
Anyone want to a travell to China?

Oh dear, NiuLi, you're in Guilin (not Giulin) aren't you? Which is in Guangxi Zhuang AR, in the south, not south-west of China.
Well, Guilin can be found on Google too.
Apologies for my error, working too late at night. [:I]
Here are two good sites.
