When I renewed, I did not recall seeing anything saying it would take under 48 hours. I would expect it to take 2 to 3 business days, based on my experience. I last renewed on a Friday evening, which was after hours. By the following Tuesday (2 business days), my status had been updated. Good luck!!

good to know. It has been 2 full business days. My status now says premium member when i reply. However I still cant view any premium content. Hopefully I am able to view by the end of the day today

As noted elsewhere in this forum, I've been told in the past that the best email to use is "editor@dsxchange.net". (note that it is .net and not .com)
