Has anyone tried to use the Common Connector migration tool, CCMigration.exe.
When I try to loging by specifying the domain , user, password and project name it receive the error
Failed to connect to the project: Node for DataStage server with name [servername] is not found in the repository.
My ETL and Services layers on differnt boxes. I wonder if the migration tool assumes that they are both on the same server. I have opened a PMR but wondering if anyone has has similar issues.

DataStage 8.1 provides a new DB connectivity stage, Common Connector.
It supports Oracle, Terra Data and DB2 (maybe a few more). It's supposed to be alot easier to configure than the enterprise stages, and I assume you don't need to pay for the additional Datastage licenses if you are running an MPP environment. It also has a number of properties not in the enterprise stages.
Anyways, it comes with a migration tool to replace all the enterprise stages in your jobs with the Common Connector Stage. I have over 200 stages to replace so this would be a huge timesaver.
The tool is located on the PC in the clients directory.
