parallel job canvas
Best Regards, Guy Przytula
The Parallel stages will only show up when you have installed the PX package; so it would seem that the installation only did server. Did you check your license xml to see if you actually do have PX?

Go into the Information Server Administrator Console and have a look at your license file. It should show you what products you have a license for. If you see a Parallel DataStage license but cannot create parallel jobs then there might be something wrong with your installation.

Try logging into the Admin tool as the Information Server administrator, probably isadmin. That user should have the rights to upload a license file. You can upload a license file at any time and you may find the parallel engine is already installed - especially if you've got a QualityStage or ProfileStage license. If it's not installed you may need to run your installer again against the new license file.
