You can have mutiple instances of 8.1 on the same server too, but not 8.0.1 and 8.1 on the same server.
You can have mutiple earlier client versions in different directories accompanying either 8.0.1 or 8.1
If this is incorrect, the IBM support provider is not up-to-date

May be Ray.. but this piece is from 8.1 documentation.
Each version of DataStage requires clients of the same version. You must use the Multi-Client Manager program to switch between different client versions on your Windows client computers. You cannot have WebSphere DataStage 8.0.1 and 8.1 clients installed on the same computer.

Sorry if I misunderstand you, but it IS possible to have 8.0 and 8.1 clients on the same PC and switch between them with the MCM. I have both and use both - when I installed 8.1 I just changed the installation directory from the default.kandyshandy wrote:No Craig...
