Hi,
I would like to know more information about REINDEX like
1. how frequently we can REINDEX on the whole project.
2. can we REINDEX if a hash file is corrupted.
I did a search on the forum but didn't much information.
Can anyone help me on this?
Thanks.

REINDEX only when jobs mysteriously disappear from the Director or won't properly show. Corrupted hashed files have nothing to do with REINDEX.

DS.REINDEX rebuilds indexes only on Repository tables that contain design-time metadata. Unless you are having problems with the Repository there is no need to use this command, as Ken noted.
Also, as Ken noted, this command does not repair corrupted hashed files. If you have created indexes on a hashed file and there is a VOC pointer to it then it would, but I'll bet that you haven't.
