Krishna,
A "Job Sequence", sometimes called just a Sequence, is a DataStage job type usually used to control other jobs or activities or routines. The Sequencer is a stage used in a Job Sequence which allows parallel processing streams to merge back together.

A sequencer can have 1 or many inputs and one output. The two choices are "any" or "all". "Any" means that the output is triggered when the first input link produces a row, "All" means the output is not triggered until all inputs have triggered.
