I have installed DataStage with NLS.
There are four tabs in the NLS window in DataStage Administrator for a project.
Server maps,server locales,Parallel maps,Parallel locales.
We do not require any specific map to be set up for a project. So I have set the following values for Server maps and server locales
Server Maps - None
Server Locales - US English.
Please let me know what value should be set for Parallel Maps and Parallel Locales inorder to ensure that my current jobs are not impacted due to the same.
Thanks

Hi
I have set UTF-8 as the default NLS value for a project in DS Administrator.
I imported and recompiled the jobs that were devloped without NLS,to this project. But the NLS values in the different stages of the job do not reflect the Project Default(UTF-8).
Any inputs on this is highly appreciated.
Thanks

In the Administrator client, select your project from the Projects tab. There you will find an NLS button where you can select the project default map (which, of course, can be overridden at the job level). You ought not, but may, need to restart DataStage services for this change to be picked up.
