Hi
There is a big problem now. I cannot log in to datastage- so user can except "dsadm"
Everyone of us is getting this message:
Code: Select all
Record 24A04DDC-CF1C-4755-8909-84F869FD7B71-AWGD-N2496:168042 on file 29 cannot be written
This comes with my existing problem of logging to the Administrator which I mentioned in this post:
viewtopic.php?t=103913
I think it is related to user group-
I suggested to have
Code: Select all
dsdevel: ALL DEVELOPERS
dsoper:ALL REPORTING GUYS
dsprdmgr: ALL ADMIN IDs and DSADM
Would this work....lets see. Please inform me if there are any suggestions.

Has "Enable job administration in Director" option been checked?
check the permission for DSParams files.
Impossible doesn't mean 'it is not possible' actually means... 'NOBODY HAS DONE IT SO FAR'

I have it enabled in Director. But I think it is a user group problem.

Open your Administrator client and check on the Permissions tab for each project which DataStage roles are associated with each of the operating system group names that you mentioned.
