when i am using template ,i have selected NEW TEMPLATE FROM THE JOB.
i have selected the job i got path/access error. can anybody help me out to complete the task.

could you explain exactly where you are using a template and quote the error message you are getting? That would make analysis a lot easier.

Templates are stored on the client machine. Perhaps the path you have given does not exist on your client machine, or perhaps you lack write permission to that folder. The pathname of the folder in which templates will be stored is prompted for when the client software is installed. It's usually a subfolder called Templates where the DataStage client is installed, for example
C:\Program Files\Ascential\DataStage7.5\Templates
C:\Program Files\Ascential\DataStage7.5\Templates

Your template path is stored in the windows registry on your client machine. You may have been prompted for a path when you installed your client (not sure what versions had this prompt). You can change the location by modifying the registry entry or, more drastically, reinstalling the client.
I don't have DataStage installed right now so I can't tell you the registry path. Hoping someone can help.
