Klaus - would it be possible for you to check and see if you have a patch or other reference number for this? Vielen Dank!Klaus Schaefer wrote:...
Yes, I've got that patch for a SOLARIS and an AIX customer, both on release 7.51A...

Hi Arnd,
I still have that patch. Here's what the readme says:
Brief description of problem (ecase 70788)
==========================================
Increase the timeout in DSD.RUN from 60 seconds
to 600 seconds to allow for cases where the D/S
server is under heavy load.
Instructions for installing the patch for ecase 70788
=====================================================
This patch consists of a single BASIC object module DSD_RUN.B.
The patch should be applied to every project and the template
as specified below:
1) Ensure the project is not active
2) Locate the DSD_RUN.B file in the directory DSD_BP.O
3) Rename DSD_RUN.B DSD_RUN.B.saved
4) Copy the new file (DSD_RUN.B) into place in DSD_BP.O directory
-- End of document --
But - I hope you understand - I will not distribute it through means of this forum. It has to be distributed by the official IBM support channel.
Best regards
Klaus

Klaus,
thanks! Since this customer has a case open about this problem and the local representative has stated that the 60-second limit is hardcoded I thought that passing on the ecase number would be a good way to get the problem resolved

If you look at the dates you would see that this problem is over 3 years old. Patches are generally available for download once you login to IBM's website .

I should note that Klaus, who gave us the information, was working for IBM at the time and could not do anything apart from referring us to the official IBM support path.
