This is not a mission critical problem, just a little daily irritation.
When starting Designer/Director/Manager i am given a list of possible datastage servers to log on to.
Through time this list has grown large and more than half the servers are no longer running, due to upgrades/moves etc.
How can i remove items from this list.
I have searched the registry for entries containing the name of one of the not_to_be_used_servers.
Searched the client installation for files containing the same
I know this is an old post, but I came across it after having the same minor problem as Peter. I found I could simply highlight the entry in the host system drop down list, then delete it. It is then permanently removed from the list. Deleting entries from the registry did not work for me.
Strange, because it must be removing them from a registry entry somewhere so you should be able to reverse the process and nip (or add) them from the other end as well. However...
