Not able to openup Job Activity Property
Hi,
I have datastage 7.1, i created 3 jobs all are working fine. I created one sequencer to call all these 3 jobs. So i added Job Activities in the sequencer but not able to do openup the properties by either double click on Job Activity Stage or by selection "Properties" Option by right clicking the Job Activity Stage. Please help me on this. I am able to open up the properties of other stages (Sequencer, Nested Condition, Wait for File Activity etc.,) except Job Activity and Routine Activitiy. Please help me in resolving this.
Initially i installed 7.1 & 7.5 at my pc, now i uninstalled both and installed 7.1 and restarted the pc.
Regards,
O.A.C.

Are you running on Windows XP? If so, you may need to reinstall the XP patch that corrects this behaviour, given that you've reinstalled DataStage from its original media (without the patch).

Actually, there are no official downloads on ADN, only a pretty much all user supplied File Library.
To get the patch you need to go to Ascential's EServices website:
http://www.ascentialsoftware.com/eservice/index.jsp
As long as you are registered you can log on and go to the Downloads section there where several patches are available. You are looking for the Service Pack 2 or XP SP2 patch for the client.

Not able to openup Job Activity Property
We installed the patch yesterday on all of our 25 or so PCs running XP Service Pack 2. Everything seems to workin correctly. I'm able to access the job properties now.
Thanks
Jason
Thanks

That's not many for India.
(I've made an assumption based on jatayl's nick, but I think it might hold. One of my clients in India has about 75 developers, another 40.)
