Connecting a client to the server is not done with a path. At least not directly. Read the documentation first. I urgently need a coffee.

Ok, Let's get more serious!
(In other words I finaly found a little time to give your post some thought)
Can you please elaborate more on your situation...
Do you have 1 server up and running including DS of version 6 and another with 7.5?
Do you have the path for the new server that doesn't have DS installed yet?
Do you have a path as a link to the other server from your current one?
Are you aware of the upgrade process you must take?
Do you need to upgrade a server install or an EE (Entrprise Edition/PX) install?
There is not enough info in your post for us to be able to help.
(This is an all volonteer forum still free of charge, hence Urgent is not a givven service)

Hi,
I'm confused . The question says that they are migrating to a new server. Doesn't that mean that they installed 7.5 on a new box?.
I think the original poster (ravij) has to talk more about it rather than being stingy about his problem. A question has to be elaborate if necessary.
A single sentence question is not always good.
Thanks!
Naveen.
