HI,
I am facing a problem that in windows 2000, whenever i restart the DS Server i see multiple instanes of DS Server loaded in Task Manager.
Can anyone throw light on this issue?
More over when i try to kill those instances it does not allow me to do that and returns an error.
Regards,
Affan

By restart mean the DS services from control panel. i think its kind of a memory leakage problem.

Can you be more precise about what processes you are seeing? Are they DataStage Resource Service (which is the only thing that could accurately be called "DS Server")? Or are they dsapi_server and dsapi_slave, which can indicate that there were connected clients when you stopped DataStage?

Yes, they are dsapi_server and dsapi_slave but slave can be killed but when i try to kill the dsapi_server its returns an error.
