Hello Sir,
Last week i did experiment on version control on windows server,it looks like fine.......but i have a question on initialization and promotion.
for doing initialization we have plans to give authorization to developers also but for promote to production it's for 2 people in a team...
my question can we set version control server level only or client level also..........please suggest me how to proceed....
Thanks for help and advice.
Thanks
Narasa

Hi,
I'd say you can simply prevent access to the production project.
1 way might be:
using a protected project means you can't promot via version control to it till you unprotect it.
keeping that in mind having the DS admin's password on your production server means no one can unprotect it if they know not the password.
IHTH,
