Use of Reporting Job parameters
What is the difference in output of the job parameters APT_DUMP_SCORE, APT_PM_PLAYER_TIMING, APT_PM_PLAYER_MEMORY and APT_RECORD_COUNT? All seem to give the same output to me.
You are not really paying close attention to the logs, if you think they are reporting the same thing.
According to DataStage 7.5 documents:
APT_DUMP_SCORE - Print a human-readable representation of how PX will handle the job just before the step is executed.
APT_PM_PLAYER_MEMORY - Report on heap memory allocation only.
APT_PM_PLAYER_TIMING - Report on CPU usage.
APT_RECORD_COUNT - Report on records consumed by each stage.
Are you sure you are turning those parameters ON within the job? (set each to a value of 1.)
