Hi,
My job creates a exel and flat file.
I had to stop the job in the midst. But now when I run the job again it gives the error that the files are being used by another user. And the job aborts.
The files cannot be accessed or deleted either. Looks like some process of the job that was stopped is still holding to files.
Any suggestion as to how to fix it.
Sonia

Reboot your server. Sorry, your locks are probably being held by Windoze, make sure you don't have any virus software running on the server.

Re: Unable to create file
that "some process" is the previous process used for creating the file. DS is sensitive in case of file locks.sonia jacob wrote:Hi,

1) Kill all the process using Windows taskManager.
2)Goto DS Director
Job -> Cleanup Resources ->Locks (show all) .
select the job and ReleaseAll
