We have a Oracle Data Warehouse of around 100GB. We have to create an ETL Process to extract specific data from this Data Warehouse, and populate into a Data Mart.
We propose to use DataStage 7.0 as our ETL tool. Can someone help us with what kind of licence of DataStage should be go for, and what would be the COST involved.
We are unable to reach any customer care, and need these two information urgently. Would appritiate if someone can prvide these details.
Regards
Vipin

Since you're on Windows as your O/S, the only option available to you - for version 7.0) is a server licence.
There are at least two Ascential resellers in India. Contact Ascential (or maybe just their web site) to determine whether there are more.
I don't know what the pricing structure for DataStage is in India.

Version 7.1 has some intelligent assistants for things such as slowly changing dimensions. It is also more robust than 7.0.
