market for datstage please advise

Hi
I have around 6 years of experience in IT.(in mainframes)
basically am from mainframe background but from recently i started working on datstage (since 6 months). Now am kind of thinking about my career, whether to stick with mainfram where i got 6 years exp or move with new technology like datstage(where i have only 6 months exp). Could any one give some advises for me on this.... and can any one tell what is the future market for datstage developers looks like, what are all current pay rates for datastage developers in US compare to mainframe .bcoz i am relocating myself to USA in another 6 months.

career opportunities with datastage is excellent. Since you know mainframes datastage has MVS version. I think that should be perfect for you.
