Use of Data set Management in Data Stage Designer....

Can any one explain about Data set Management option in Designer. i.e.
Tools>Data set Management.

This option is same as it is available in DataStage Manager. You can add/drop datasets from this option.

HI,
If you provide the path of the contol file of a a dataset, you manage the dataset by the available options of dynamic view, delete, copy. Where you can find the total number of records, number of recors per nodes. You can also watch out metadata.
