Where can I find out on the internal DS repository.

This is what I'd like to do:
Create report based on VERSION (DS version control)
-report each jobs that exists in different environment & report them side-by-side: their version#, date checked-in , 1line of comments.

Doesn't exist. Since IBM now owns Version, you need to go to them with the enhancement request. There are capabilities to get at this information, but if you don't know DS BASIC well or have a background in the Universe engine from which the DS Engine is derived you have a long way to go.

One of the other Inner Circle guys or a DCS-Strategies guru (if allowed) is going to have to chip in if they know anything.

I just had to do something very similar to this for the SOX auditors making the rounds. Sourcing from two of the 'special' hashed files that make a VERSION project a Version Control project got me what I needed - APM_BATCH and APM_VERSION to be exact.

Imported the metadata, poked around for awhile at the data in each and then hooked these two together. Done!

Unusually, all of the metadata you need is in the file dictionaries for these hashed files. 8)
