Is this a new installation or an existing one? Has this worked before or do we need to walk you thru configuring PX for Oracle?

So, have you configured PX for Oracle? Is the Oracle client installed? What have you done? Was there an issue following the setup guides in your documentation? Can you post those error messages as well?

Can you tnsping the Oracle instance from your DS server? Is Oracle local to your machine?

Did you try to import metadata using DS Manager? Did it connect using the sid, userid, and password? When you setup the OCI stage, are your DB Options set correctly? How about Remote Server, did you add it and put in the valid sid?

I am able to connect Oracle through ODBC, DYNAMIC RDBMS stages but when I tried to connect Oracle Enterprise stage I am getting this error.

To repeat: When you setup the OCI (Enterprise) stage, are your DB Options set correctly? How about Remote Server, did you add it and put in the valid sid?

That's two in a row. I'm at a loss how to proceed other than to say it's pretty simple. Maybe it's time to call tech support.

Have you been able to get any jobs to connect to Oracle and do anything?
