Datastage EE repository

Post by babbu9 »

Hi
If we install Datastage EE edition, where will the repository be. Is it on the client machine or is it on every node in the architecture or only a single node?

Please inform.

The same Repository is used for all your design-time components, whether they be in server jobs, parallel jobs, mainframe jobs or job sequences, or supporting any of the above (routines, table definitions, and so on). Run-time information for server jobs, parallel jobs and job sequences is also stored in the same Repository. There is one Repository per project, and these are stored on the same machine as the DataStage engine. When you run parallel jobs, this machine is usually the conductor node - that is, the node on which the conductor process executes.
