Hi,
Can any body explain in detial on what is difference between SAS Stage and SAS dataset.
What are their actual use and what sort of source files do we need to give inputs and what are the actual contents needs to be passed to extract the data from SAS.

I doubt that the server forum is a good place to ask this question.

In summary, the SAS stage accesses SAS "directly", whereas the SAS Data Set stage creates a persistent Data Set in a format compatible with SAS.
