Hi everybody,

i am new for DS. I have one question regarding Real time loading with DS.
Could anyone explain how can we implement Real-time loading in DS, please.
Thank you

You buy the 'real time' product, now know as the SOA Edition.

No problem. Just wanted to point out that there is a specific product built to handle 'real time' processing. It was introduced as the RTI or Real Time Integration Services but has since been renamed to be the SOA or Service Oriented Architecture Edition. You'll find a different forum dedicated to it here.

The two main products - Server and EE/PX (the forum you posted in) - are the traditional 'batch' oriented products. Now, you can get what some call 'near real time' processing by running small batches over and over... but it's not really the same thing.

Then there is always DataStage TX, which is real time with good automatic triggering mechanisms. I don't know how it compares to RTI as I have never seen RTI though.

Interesting. I've seen Mercator in the past, but that was a long time ago and never since acquired by Ascential and morphed into TX. I'll have to keep that in mind.
