When i tried out the help option of data stage for Change apply and some other stages in processing, the document refered to schema and sub schemas.At the end of it i am confused in these topics.

Could some one enlighten me .

I think schema is used as a word meaning "column meta data".

The stage u talked about is a parallel job stage that applies a set of
captured changes to a data set.
