There is one in DataStage too going by the name of Universe (another IBM product).

If you are new, better start by using DataStage Administrator to access it, instead of uv console commands. Its documentation can help you get started.

In the current release the DataStage repository is closed; that is, its table definitions are not in the public domain.

The Reporting Assistant can dump information from the DataStage repository into a first-normal-form, with your choice of target database.

Within DataStage, the repository makes a lot of use of multi-valued fields for storing collections of object properties, and it is bewildering for anyone brought up in a first-normal-form way of thinking. Therefore, Ascential choose not to reveal much about how things are stored in the DataStage Repository.

This situation (non-open repository database) may change in an upcoming release, but I never told you that.
