I think it is supported on a very specific version of Red Hat. Ray would know.

Will have to get back on the exact platform requirements.

Certainly PX is running on a cluster of Linux machines in Ascential's Melbourne (Australia) office. Supported/certified or not, it seems to work.

From the readme (release notes)" Red Hat Linux Advanced Server 2.1/3.0 "

I also think it will run on some other versions but I can't remember which. I think the issue here is to do with which compiler versions are supported.

How many nodes the job will run on is dependent on the job design and the amount of data/specification of hardware. Although certain stages will only run in sequential mode however many nodes are specified on the config_file.

Thanx

I sent my problem to the hot line and it does not see an error in my file of configuration (apt_config_file)

But with your answer, I think that 256 MG is insufficient

The check option of "Dataset Manager" "Configuration" check only one node ??
if 256 MG is insufficient perhaps "Check" validate only one node ??

Bye

My problem is SOLVED

it was an error of syntax in the file of config

The Datastage PX 7.1r1 on Plateform AS 2.1 with SGBD ORACLE 9I RUN
