What is -table option when reading from DB2

Iam getting an error as 'The required "-table" argument is missing' when Iam trying to read data from a DB2 UDB table. Iam using user defined SQL option to read data from DB2. I even tried with the partitioned table option, but did't help me to get rid of this error. Any help is appreciated.
