Issue with DRS Connector - SQL Server

We are currently on 11.3.1.2 windows and migrating to 11.5.0.1 (aix 7.1). we have some server jobs using dynamic rdbms stage back from ascential days that worked till 11.3.1.2, with 11.5 the stage is retired and we used the connector to migrate.
However the connector is causing many issues.
When we are selecting from multiple tables with common column names, if we qualify the column names with table names(in derivation of output tab), and the set the property to generate queries, its ignoring the column in select clause or the alias used.
Has anyone faced this? we already opened a PMR, but the stage being at least 4-5 yrs old, its hard to believe it has such serious bugs. Appreciate your response
