FTP error

Post by vibwipro »

Hi,

I am getting an error similar to what given here.

i am using command as "ftp:\\tdbf-iafil-sc1.d2-tdbfg.com\mbct\CIS\DATA\sys.dbf"

Gave error :"FTP_Enterprise_45: Error occurred during initializeFromArgs()."
and " uri is having invalid syntax. uri : ftp:\tdbf-iafil-sc1.d2-tdbfg.com\mbct\CIS\DATA\sys.dbf"

Could you please suggest what could be reason.

Regards.

He was not providing you a solution (yet), he was placing your post onto it's own thread.

It's only been 30 mins since you posted... I would recommend decaffeinated beverages.

So, do you have a space in your URL?

Have you tried using the %0x20 instead of a space?

The second backslash after "ftp:" seems to have gone missing.

Try it with three or four backslashes, or try it with forward slashes throughout the pathname (Windows understands forward slashes).
