Chinese characters on Netezza

~ Not sure why there is no option for 9x or 11x on the DataStage release dropdown while creating a new thread!

We recently purchased IBM Infosphere 9x and Netezza 7 to migrate our old systems from SSIS and SQL Server 2005 respectively. Its a brand new installation.

While trying to read data from SQL server to load the data on the Netezza via DataStage, the jobs are failing when the data contains chinese characters. we are using NZ_Connector stage to access NZ.

Job Design

SQL Server -----RCP------> NZ_Connector.

Is there anything that we might be missing in our NZ setup that we should be addressing?
