Is there a function in datastage to convert Alpha base-26?

Is there a function in datastage 8.5 to convert Alphabase26 to Integer.

What is Alphabase26? It's one of the rare keywords where Google only locates 9 results (one was this topic, others were not in languages I know).

It should have probably read as "alpha base-26"
