Date Conversion

Hi,
Date format from MM/DD/YYYY to CCYY/MM/DD
we are using DS 8.5 version
Can You Plz help me any one..

What is the data type of the source and of the target?
Date data type is stored in a binary format, and does not have a format.
If you're reading from a string and writing to a string, convert from string to date and then back to string, each time with an appropriate format specification.

As noted, a DATE has no format but a date in a STRING does. Clarify for us what your source and target types are.

So bottom line there is no conversion needed. As noted, a date is a date and
has no format.
