Hi,

Can please some one explain process to convert russian characters to English in Datastage job? I am using Sql file stage to read source file with russian character. In the NLS Map tab, i am using UTF-8 to read the file. In the Target, again in Sql file stage, in NLS Map tab i am using KOI8-R. output i am getting is all ????.

DataStage is not a Universal Translator. While it can convert from one characterset to another, it cannot translate from one language to another, which is in no way the same thing.
