CFF Occurs depending on issue

I have also got same issue as this post now in 8.7 version and higher as well. It looks like datastage is unable to handle any thing other than decimal value in depending on clause. it doesnt read smallint,bigint or integer.it anle to read only decimal comp-3 correctly.

Please let me know what alternate solution you have got.

Is ur record fixed width or variable ? Need further details about the error.
