Sync Timeout expired

Post by elavenil »

The load job, which loads data (DS --> Teradata table) into Teradata was failed with 'Sync timeout of 999 seconds expired' and it was successful when it was resubmitted.

Where is this sync table created? How can this table be checked to identify the symptoms of this issue? Is it due to insufficient resources in Teradata database?

Appreciate if expertise can enlighten some light on this issue?

Thanks & Regards

Hi Elavenil ,

this happens when the web server does not respond with in the time,

I think you can specify this setting in admin-client,
General tab ==> Inactivity timeout ==> check on "Do not timeout" option"

No, this is a Teradata specific issue. It's been discussed here before so a search should turn it up or you can go have a chat with your DBA.
