'Bulk' is not a term typically associated with sourcing data but rather loading. Unless this is a Teradata specific thing? :?

It is a Teradata specific thing.

To answer iskapalli, there is no set row number that can be given. It can't be explained in bytes or any other number. Each choice is dependent upon the situation. Are your rows to big to fit into the buffer using the immediate access option. When using the immediate option are you getting the performance that is needed to meet your SLA. Is there a standard in place for teradata access that is particualr to your environment. There are too many variables for meor anyone else to give you a number that you can use.
