Hi,
If Someone have expertse in Mainframe. They can change the hexadecimal data into ASCII format.
So you cannot read the hexadecimal from Sequential file . It need to be converted in Mainframe itself .

I have used complex flat file to read EBCDIC files (which are files created in Mainframes).

What 'certain data' exactly? Are these COMP-3 / PACKED DECIMAL fields?

Look in this FAQ: viewtopic.php?t=143596

If I haven't covered it for you there, it may serve to help you state your question in a different way.

I've tried to help Eric several times but my cries seem to be falling on deaf ears... that is some sort of setup issue/error and needs to be resolved by the site owner / webmaster. Sorry. :(

Thanks, Craig. I know you've tried to help out! I've also tried emailing directly, but maybe someone is on extended vacation or something. It hasn't worked since I joined.
