Process meta data not available in database

Hi,
My job has a ODBC stage which calls a Sybase stored procedure. The output from this stage is 0 records and it gives the message ' Process meta data not available in database'. When the same procedure is executed in the database, it does return some number of rows. I saw a post related to this:

My query is, will the fix pack1 suggested in the above post solve my problem or is the problem related to something else.
