Hi all experts,
I have a parallel job running perfectly fine in SIT environment. But it never run success in Production due to the error 'Parallel job reports failure (code 139)'
Before this, we have tried to recompile job, recreate job, it doesnt work out.
Just a while ago, i changed the setting of buffering mode in all of the stages within the specified job from 'Default' to 'Auto Buffer'. Come to my surprise, it works, job finish running.
May anyone help to clarify the reason behind? As i came across may posts on error 139, it seems that it could be different reason to hit error code 139.

As you said - the error can have many causes, however in my experience a 'Parallel job reports failure (code 139)' is usually caused by running the job with the wrong parameter values. So, since the the job is running fine in one environment and not in the other, then check that you have the correct/adjusted parameter values for the new environment.
