Oracle connector/Enterprise Stage

Post by ethanr »

Hi,
When using Oracle Connector for bulk loads(SQL Ldr, DIRECT=TRUE),do they create logs, in any place, either scratch disk or some directory ?
Or do they store these information in any utility tables ?

When using Enterprise Stage for Bulk loads, there are logs created in scratch disk locations ?

Please suggest.
Thanks

Do Oracle Connector stage generates log files in Bulk load options? I could not find them in scratch disk.
Thanks, EthanR

I for one have no clue. All the docs mention is actions being "logged" which I assume means the job's log. Why not ping your official support provider, let us know what you find out?

In the temporary log files are created in scratch directory while the job runs and gets deleted once the job run completed. Only some files are saved, i.e. node and sort files. But the log files are saved to the default log directory.

Thanks bkamila. I could not find any options or parameters where I can specify the default log directory path in oracle connector stage. Can you specify options or where can i specify the default" path? Sorry, if my question is weird
