Export of parameter values from a parameter set

I would like to extract the parameters defined in a parameter set. Since i have frequently changing values in the parameter set i would like to take an extract of the parameter values for validation purpose before proceeding to make any changes in it. Values can be extracted in the exported dsx of the paramter set but do we have any other options like ds command to executed in administrator?
