Hi All,

We have a requirement where we need to connect the sybase.

So we installed the software and configured the below mentioned files to connect to sybase through datastage.

Files Modified:

odbc.ini --- IP and other information
uvodbc.config --- added new servers (File in dsengine and Projects as well)
SHLIB_PTH was modified in the dsenv to add the odbc lib path.


After doing all these modifications we were able to connect to sysbase through UNIX (Testing connection by passing the configured server name to SQL), but were not able to connect through DataStage.

Error Occured when we tried to view the data through DataStage was mentioned below.

Error:

SH: 24064 Memory fault(coredump).

Can any one let us know if need to do any other configurations.

Could not connect with OBDC Stage or Sybase Stage or both?

I was not able to connect with both the stages. But our requirement is to use ODBC stage.
