Could you elaborate what is the rule that defines how many times a row should be duplicated?

Seriously, how can you expect anyone to know your secret rules on how to generate that output? It's nice that you posted what you need it to look like but you also need to explain in words the business rules / methodology you've been given to get there - don't make people guess or have to puzzle it out. :?

I think I know what the rule is, but will await the original poster's response.

A meaningful subject line would have been good, too.

I would change it if I had any idea what to put there.

InfoSphere has a MindReader stage, but it comes at an extra charge, IIRC.

This has a fairly easy resolution in 8.5 (if my guess about the requirement is correct) but is more difficult - but not impossible - in earlier versions.

We know, that's the problem - and from the responses here you can see it didn't work... well, except perhaps for Ray. So are you saying you've already solved this problem? If you still need help, as requested, clarify the rules needed to get from A to B.
