What is the best configuration scheme for optimizing paralle

Hi All,
If we have MPP machines (four server),
1. Is it possible if we want to setup MPP machines if the machines aren't exactly similar (different CPUs between each machine)
2. What is the best configuration to optimize the performance (Is there the difference between using Unconnected Conductor with connected conductor)?
