Oracle EE to oracle connector

Hi All,
We are planing to migrate the Datastage v7.5 to Datastage v8.1. In new environment (v8.1) we want to replace all Oracle EE stages with Oracle connector, so is there any converter or automation available to do it ( dont want to do it manualy, as approximate 1000 jobs are there).

Why not upgrade to version 8.5? Far fewer bugs and a much easier installation than 8.1 and, yes, Enterprise stage types are automatically converted to Connector stage types.

There is a converter. Someone will post the name of it. Or you can track it down on IBM web site (probably Fix Central).

For IS 8.1, the tool is named the Connector Migration Tool and is available for download from IBM Fix Central.
For both IS 8.1 and 8.5 you must use this utility to migrate the jobs. It is not done automatically during an import/export process.
Of course, you can always choose to migrate them by hand!

Just out of curiosity: Why would you convert from Oracle EE to Oracle Connector? My assumption is Oracle connector will be faster then ODBC connection but it will be slower then Native connectivity like Oracle EE. Same is true for DB2 connector also.

The Connectors are 'native' as well.

Why is that your assumption?
The connectors utilize a new code framework that is faster than the code used within the EE stages (which have been around forever), and they will also use the native connectivity (Database client drives, etc.).

IBM Connector migration tool does not support Oracle Enterprise/OCI stage conversion to Oracle Connector. Please refer link below:

Is there any other tool/utility available ?
